Monthly program fees are now subsidized by the Government, making our program truly affordable!

One of the ways we keep our fees affordable for families is by working a casino every 2 years. 2025/2026 IS a Casino year. If your child is registered at Woodcroft Playschool your family must provide a minimum of 1 volunteer during the 2 day event. 


Four-Year-Old Program

The 4 Year old Program runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00am to 11:30am.  Children must be four years of age by December 31 of the current school year.  The monthly fee for the four year old program is currently $140.00  ($100 is subsidized by the government leaving parent fees at $40/month) and accepts a total of 12 children.

Three Year-Old Program

The 3 Year old Program runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 11:00am.  Children must be three years of age by December 31 of the current school year.  The monthly fee for the three year old program is currently $120.00 (the Government subsidizes $100/month leaving parent fees at $20/month) and accepts a total of 12 children.

** Please note if your child attends more than 1 program (for example daycare or dayhome as well as playschool) they will not be eligible for the affordability grant. Please speak to staff for further information. 

Registration Time Line

All children (and any siblings) currently attending Woodcroft Community Playschool have first priority in the program.  Any Woodcroft community residents have second priority.  All other applicants who are new to the program have third priority.  Children within these categories will be enrolled in the order that the complete registration form and the non-refundable registration fee is paid by etransfer (woodcroftplayschool@gmail.com).

   

 

 Time Line For Registration for 2025/2026

  • February 17-23, 2025 - Registration opens to all children continuing in the program & Alumni.

  • February 23- March 2, 2025 - Registration opens to all Woodcroft Community residents.

  • March 3rd forward - Registration opens to the general public!

 

 

 

 

  • Current Registration Levels for the 2025/2026 School Year:

    • Tuesday/Thursday Program:

  • August - Families who have handed in the registration form and have paid the registration fee are invited to an Orientation Meeting in August in the Playschool

  • September - Classes start Tuesday September 8th.

The current non-refundable registration fee for both programs is $50.00.

 

Check List

The following items you will need ensure that your child has a spot reserved in the program.

  1. Registration Form completed and returned online and the $50 registration fee paid by etransfer.
  2. Fees are payable yearly, Sept/Jan, or monthly and are due the first of every month. Fees are only accepted by etransfer.
  3. Your current Community League Membership number. (Required in the Fall when new memberships are issued)
  4. This is a CASINO year. If your child is registered at Woodcroft Playschool it is mandatory that each family provides a minimum of 1 volunteer during the 2 day casino. Dates will be announced in the fall.
